Depart Nairobi in the morning and journey through the scenic Great Rift Valley, enjoying a brief stop at a viewpoint to take in the stunning landscapes. Arrive at Masai Mara in time for lunch at your lodge or camp, followed by a late afternoon game drive. This first safari drive offers your first chance to spot lions, elephants, giraffes, and possibly a cheetah or leopard. Return to your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay in the heart of the Mara.

After an early breakfast, begin your journey to Lake Nakuru. Arrive in time for lunch, then head out for an afternoon game drive in this compact yet richly diverse park. Famous for its seasonal flocks of flamingos and pelicans, Lake Nakuru also shelters both black and white rhinos, tree-climbing lions, and the endangered Rothschild giraffe.
