A night in Nairobi

Upon arrival at the Jomo Kenyatta Airport, you will be met by our airport representative and transferred to your city hotel for overnight. Our rep will take you through a brief pre-safari orientation before embarking on your dream safari adventure of Kenya. Dinner on own arrangement. Overnight in Nairobi Crowne Plaza Hotel.

Day 2

Leave for Amboseli National Park

Leave for Amboseli National Park

Breakfast and drive to Amboseli. After crossing the frontier town of Namanga, on the border with Tanzania, the semidesert landscape brings us to the Amboseli National Park to arrive in time for lunch. Afternoon game drive includes searching for the Big Five, elephants, Buffalos, lions, Rhinos and leopards and the great view of Mount Kilimanjaro before returning to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and overnight – Penety Camp Amboseli.

Morning Game Drive: Begin your day with an early morning game drive when animals are most active. Amboseli is known for its spectacular sunrises and diverse wildlife, including elephants, cheetahs, and a variety of bird species. Breakfast: Return to the camp for breakfast. Mid-Morning: Relax at your lodge or take part in optional activities like a nature walk with a guide. Lunch: Enjoy lunch at the lodge. Afternoon Game Drive: Head out for an afternoon game drive to explore more of Amboseli’s marshes, lakes, and plains. You may see hippos wallowing in the swamps or spot predators like lions and hyenas hunting in the late afternoon. Evening: Return to your camp for dinner and overnight stay.

Morning Departure: After breakfast, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha, located about 5-6 hours from Amboseli. The route offers views of the Great Rift Valley and scenic landscapes along the way. Arrival at Lake Naivasha: Arrive at your lodge in Naivasha by midday and enjoy lunch. Afternoon Boat Ride on Lake Naivasha: In the afternoon, take a relaxing boat ride on Lake Naivasha. Spot hippos in the water and enjoy birdwatching, with species like kingfishers, fish eagles, and pelicans often seen. If you wish, you can also disembark on Crescent Island for a walking safari, where you can walk among giraffes, zebras, and antelopes. Evening: Return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 5

Early breakfast and depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, departing with packed lunch. You will arrive late in the afternoon and later head out for game drive. Return back for dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Sarova Woodlands

Lake Nakuru is a small park but home to a variety of animals including the magnificent, rare white rhinos which form part of the Big 5. A major highlight is the pink migratory birds, flamingoes among other bird species. Enjoy endless photographic and wildlife opportunities in this wildlife haven. The Lake is surrounded with escarpment and ridges that form a picturesque landscape. Game drives go in and out the fever tree forest and along the shores of Lake Nakuru.

After breakfast climb the Western Escarpment of the Rift Valley and head towards Maasai Mara. With its vast open plains and distinctive flat-topped acacia trees, no visit to Kenya would be complete without a visit here. Enjoying views of the picturesque Maasai tribesmen herding cattle on the way, you arrive in time for lunch and a well-deserved rest! Afternoon game drive includes searching for the Big Five, elephants, Buffalos, lions, Rhinos and leopards, before returning to your lodge as the sun sets! Dinner and overnight at Keekorok or similar.

Exclusive game drive

The early morning calm air of the Maasai Mara has made possible the introduction of Hot Air Balloon flights, available as an optional tour of a hot air balloon ride to see the park from a bird’s eye view, from leading lodges and camps in the reserve. (Please reserve early to avoid disappointment for this adventure!). Pre-breakfast morning game drive in the reserve, a great opportunity to explore the vast flora and fauna of this magnificent reserve. After a rewarding game drive, return to your lodge for late morning breakfast. Lunch and late afternoon Game viewing drive.

Option: A full day game drive with picnic lunch boxes (full day game drive including visits to Mara River, Kenya Tanzania Border Post and a great chance to view the “Big Five”. You will have picnic lunch close to the Hippo Pool. Return to your lodge late in the afternoon). Later just relax or visit the nearby Maasai village as an optional excursion. On your final day, wake up early for a morning game drive, your last chance to spot any wildlife you may have missed during your stay. After the game drive, return to your camp for a hearty breakfast. You'll then have some time to relax, pack, and enjoy your surroundings. Depending on your departure time, you may have a brief game drive or leisure time before checking out of your camp. You will be transferred to the Masai Mara Airstrip for your flight back to Nairobi, where you can either catch your international flight home or continue with your next adventure in Kenya.
