Arrival & Guided Game Drive at Tarangire National Park

Your adventure begins at Arusha or Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO), the gateway to Tanzania’s northern safari circuit. Upon arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional driver-guide together with a representative from Maven Tanzania Safaris, who will greet you and assist with your luggage.

You will then be escorted to your private 4x4 safari vehicle, where a brief safari orientation will be provided before commencing your journey. You will proceed directly to Tarangire National Park, a destination celebrated for its striking landscapes, ancient baobab trees, and impressive elephant populations.

Enjoy an exciting game drive through the park, offering excellent opportunities to observe wildlife such as lions, giraffes, zebras, and a wide variety of bird species in their natural habitat. In the late afternoon, you will continue your journey towards the picturesque town of Karatu, located on the foothills of the Ngorongoro Highlands for your overnight stay.
