On day one, you'll depart Nairobi in the morning and journey south to Amboseli National Park, famed for its iconic views of Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa's tallest peak. Along the way, you'll enjoy the picturesque countryside before arriving at the park, where the remarkable new Lake Amboseli awaits, formed by recent rains. You'll marvel at the large herds of elephants, gracefully moving through the savannah, as well as other wildlife. After settling in, you'll embark on an afternoon game drive, soaking in the breathtaking scenery and abundant wildlife.
Later, you'll drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

You'll spend a full day exploring Amboseli National Park's beauty and abundant wildlife. You'll begin your morning with a game drive, venturing into the park's diverse ecosystems, from the lush swamps to the expansive open plains. You'll capture incredible moments of wildlife, including the park's famed herds of elephants, zebras, wildebeests, and predators like lions and cheetahs. The views of Mount Kilimanjaro towering in the distance create a stunning backdrop for your safari adventure.
You'll enjoy a picnic lunch at one of the scenic spots within the park, surrounded by the sounds and sights of nature. You'll continue exploring, seeking out more wildlife and discovering Amboseli's birdlife, including pelicans, kingfishers, and flamingos. As the sun begins to set, the golden hues of the landscape provide the perfect end to your adventure. You'll return to your lodge in the evening for dinner and a peaceful overnight stay, reflecting on the day's unforgettable experiences.

Day 3
Amboseli to lake Nakuru national park
Amboseli to lake Nakuru national park
Have breakfast, and then head for Lake Nakuru. You will get to stop at the Rift Valley viewpoint for a scenic photo session and later head to Lake Naivasha. You will arrive in the afternoon in time for lunch.
After lunch, you will head out for the afternoon game drive. Here, you will have a chance to see various types of animals.
Your overnight stay is at the lodge.

Day 4
Lake Nakuru to lake Naivasha
Lake Nakuru to lake Naivasha
Have breakfast, and then head for Lake Naivasha. You will arrive in the afternoon in time for lunch.
After lunch, you will head out for a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, followed by a walking safari in the animal sanctuary. Here, you will have a one-on-one encounter with animals like giraffes and zebras. The animals are so close that you can almost touch them!
Your overnight stay is at the lodge.

Day 5
Lake Naivasha to Masai Mara

After breakfast, we head to Masai Mara National Reserve. At 5:00pm, Masai Morans (warriors) will pick you up from your accommodation and guide you on a walking safari as you head for a cultural tour of some of the old communities that still exist.
Later, head back to the lodge/camp, freshen up, and enjoy a freshly prepared dinner and overnight stay at Mara Sopa Lodge.
Between July and October, the Great Rift Valley gets busy. Millions of zebras and wildebeest cross the Masai Mara in search of new grazing territory, and in their wake comes a veritable horde of predators.

Today's itinerary is flexible, and you can discuss the day's schedule with your guide.
You can have a relaxed breakfast and depart for a full day game drive around the park at 6:30am, carrying a picnic lunch. This will allow you to visit the Mara River, where the migration happens between July and October. Also, you will have a better chance to view wildlife all day and return to the lodge for dinner and overnight.
A Masai Mara safari is an unmissable highlight of any holiday to Kenya.
