Day 1

After breakfast, your professional safari guide will drive you to Tarangire National Park, renowned for its large elephant herds, expansive savannahs, ancient baobab trees, and the vital Tarangire River, which attracts a wide variety of wildlife during the dry season. As you explore the park, you may encounter giraffes, bushbucks, hartebeests, buffalos, zebras, wildebeests, and possibly predators such as lions and leopards. From the comfort of your 4x4 vehicle with a pop-up roof, you’ll have excellent visibility for wildlife viewing and photography. Midday, you will pause to enjoy a picnic lunch within the park, accompanied by soft drinks and coffee. After a full day of exploration, you’ll head to Ngedere Lodge, where you’ll check in, enjoy a freshly prepared dinner, and settle in for an overnight stay surrounded by nature.

After an early breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and depart for the iconic Ngorongoro Crater. Upon arrival, you will descend into the caldera via a steep trail to begin your final game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the world’s largest intact volcanic calderas, offers an unparalleled concentration of wildlife. Home to over 25,000 animals, including the famed “Big Five” (lion, elephant, buffalo, rhino, and leopard), as well as more than 500 bird species, this unique ecosystem provides an extraordinary wildlife viewing experience. You will enjoy a scenic picnic lunch within the crater, surrounded by its dramatic landscapes. In the afternoon, you will ascend the crater rim and begin your return journey to Arusha, where you will arrive in the late afternoon, marking the conclusion of your safari adventure.
