Begin your journey with the 07:00 shuttle from OR Tambo International Airport in Johannesburg to African Rock Lodge in Hoedspruit. Arrive just in time for a delicious lunch at 12:30, before settling in with check-in at 14:00. At 15:00, your adventure truly begins with a 3-hour sunset drive in the exclusive Blue Canyon Reserve.

Unlike the public roads of Kruger, this private reserve offers an intimate and secluded safari experience within the greater Kruger region. Covering 38,000 hectares of untouched bushveld, it is a sanctuary for rare and remarkable wildlife, from rhinos and elephants to lions, cheetahs, and leopards.

Pause for sundowners and snacks as the African sky transforms into a canvas of gold and crimson, before returning to the lodge for a welcoming dinner at 18:30.
