Nairobi To Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, at 8:00 a.m., you will be picked up from your hotel or airport. You will drive west to Masai Mara National Reserve, stopping for lunch enroute. You'll arrive in time for the evening game drive. Masai Mara National Reserve is Kenya's premier wildlife reserve. There are around 450 animal species documented here, including migratory. Although the Mara plains are densely populated with migratory wildebeests and zebras in July, August, and September, there is also resident species throughout the year. The game reserve's dispersal region is home to the well-known Maasai tribes. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in a mid-range motel at Jambo Mara Lodge.

Masai Mara National Reserve

Following breakfast, you will embark on a full day of animal viewing within the reserve. The landscape is magnificent savannah grassland with undulating hills. The reserve is Kenya's best wildlife park due to its vast road and track network, which enables for close-range viewing and photography. You will take a picnic lunch break by the hippo pool while keeping an eye out for hippos and crocodiles. Your supper and overnight stay will take place at the Jambo mara lodge.

Masai Mara to Lake Nakuru

You will have an early morning breakfast then have an optional visit to the Masai Village. At midmorning you will leave the Mara region and go to Nakuru, stopping for lunch along the way. The major route will offer spectacular views of Mt Longmont and Lake Naivasha from a distance. Your supper and overnight stay will be at the Midland Hotel.
