1-Day Express Akagera National Park Safari

• You'll be collected from the airport.

Your guide will pick you up early in the morning from Kigali International Airport. After the briefing, you’ll set off on a 2.5-hour drive to Akagera National Park. The drive takes you through beautiful hills, villages, and farmlands before reaching the savannah plains near the Tanzanian border. Upon arrival, you will go through the park entrance, meet your park ranger, and begin your game drive.

Spend the late morning exploring Akagera’s diverse ecosystems. The park is home to the Big Five. With some luck, you may also spot the shy black rhino. Birdwatchers will be delighted, as it is home to over 500 bird species.
You’ll have lunch in the park, where you can relax and take in the scenic surroundings.

In the afternoon, continue your game drive toward the most wildlife-rich section of Akagera. This area offers fantastic photographic opportunities. After exploration, begin your drive back to Kigali and Your guide will drop you off at the airport as you end your tour.
