6 Day Uganda Primate Safari starts with arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Entebbe on the shores of Lake Victoria the largest lake in Africa. Experienced English speaking driver guide will warmly welcome you, tell you more about the safari and then drive you to your hotel. The journey from Entebbe to your hotel gives you a clear view of Uganda’s welcoming and comfortable environment. Upon arrival at the hotel, check in, relax, dinner and unwind from the long journey as you also prepare for the next day's program.

Day 2
Transfer to Queen Elizabeth and Evening game drive

Wake up and have breakfast early and then embark on a scenic drive to queen Elizabeth National Park. The journey takes about 6-7 hours and you will have a stopover at the equator for the water experience, photography and refreshment. Proceed, have lunch in Mbarara and embark on the journey to the park. Game drive before check in hoping to sight different mammals amongst the 95 that the park has including tree climbing lions, elephants, Uganda kob and many more. Wind up the game drive with a beautiful sundowner, proceed to the lodge check in, dinner and overnight.

Day 3

Early breakfast and then proceed to kyambura gorge also known as the valley of Apes for briefing about dos and don’ts of chimpanzee trekking. Enjoy the lush forested chasm as you drive through. The gorge is home to a small population of wild chimpanzees living in the dense forests making trekking spectacular. Upon spotting the chimpanzee you have an hour to enjoy them nest, vocalize, observing their complex social interactions and you will likely spot other primates like red-tailed monkeys, black and white colobus monkey and olive baboons. Return to the lodge, have lunch and embark on an afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel. Boat cruise on Kazinga channel is a rewarding fun filled activity that includes close encounter with hippos, different mammals including elephants, bushbucks, birds like African skimmer, little bee-eater, African crowned eagle, swamp fly catcher and many more.

Day 4
Morning game drive and Transfer to Bwindi via Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions

An early breakfast and head to an exhilarating morning game drive through the savannah plains of Queen Elizabeth national park in the kasenyi sector the prime game viewing area. Be on a look out for predators including lions, leopards you may luckily find them on move. Other mammals likely to be spotted include buffalo, warthogs, and herds of Uganda kob, bird species including crested cranes, bee-eaters and lapwings.
Return to the lodge for lunch and embark on the journey to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park via Ishasha sector. If lucky, you may spot tree climbing lions and other mammals you may have missed. Continue to Bwindi impenetrable forest national park a haven to nearly half of the World's remaining population of mountain gorillas. Upon arrival, check-in for dinner and retire for the night.

Day 5
Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park
Breakfast at around 6am and prepare for the ultimate Mountain Gorilla Trekking Experience. Proceed to the visitor’s center for briefing about gorilla trekking dos and don’ts. Dressed appropriately with a bottle of water, camera set with no flash, embark on the search for the majestic mountain gorillas in the jungle of Bwindi forest. The search takes around 30 minutes to 6 hours to find the allocated gorilla family. On finding them, you have a full hour watching them play, nest feed and enjoying their daily life in their nature habitat making the safari enjoyable, magical and worth every effort.
After the trek, receive your certificate as a memory for your gorilla trekking safari, have lunch and embark on the drive to Lake Mburo national park. Upon arrival, check-in for dinner and retire for the night.

Day 6
Walking safari and transfer back to Entebbe
Walking safari and transfer back to Entebbe
Breakfast at your time and then proceed for a walking safari in the plain savannahs of Lake Mburo. Lake Mburo is a small park but blessed with over 68 mammal species including water bucks, buffaloes, giraffes, zebra, water bucks, over 350 bird species including pied kingfisher, yellow breasted Apalis, African wattled lapwing, ground hornbill and many more that are likely to be spotted on the walking guided safari wrapping your safari in a perfect ending full of memories.
Have lunch in the afternoon, depending on your flight time, you will be dropped either at Entebbe international airport or at your hotel around Kampala or Entebbe.
