Arrival and Game Drive at Amboseli National Park

You will be picked at the airport or your Nairobi hotel by a representative from Alistar Expeditions, receive a warm welcome to Kenya and your safari care package. Begin your journey with a scenic drive through the beautiful Kenyan countryside to Amboseli National Park, arriving before lunch. Check in at the charming Amboseli Sopa Lodge and take some time to rest. After lunch, set out on your first exciting game drive. Spot a variety of wildlife and watch herds of elephants as they return in search of water and food. Later, return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Game drive at Masai Mara

Today is dedicated to a full-day adventure deep in the heart of Masai Mara National Reserve, Kenya’s crown jewel of wildlife. After an early breakfast, set out with packed lunch for an unforgettable game drive across the vast savannah. Witness nature at its rawest: predators on the prowl, herds of wildebeest and zebras, towering giraffes. Explore endless golden plains teeming with life, majestic lions stalking prey, cheetahs in mid-chase, elephants marching in herds the elusive Big Cats in action. With luck, you might even catch a dramatic hunt unfold before your eyes. Enjoy lunch in the wild, surrounded by stunning landscapes and roaming wildlife and have a walking safari along Mara River with an armed ranger spotting hippos, crocodiles and the guide giving you a session on the eco system.
