Arusha to Tarangire National Park
After an early breakfast, we depart for Tarangire National Park, a hidden gem known for its striking landscapes and remarkable wildlife. The park is named after the Tarangire River, a vital water source that winds through the area and draws wildlife from miles around—especially during the dry season. This river, often referred to as the "river of warthogs," becomes the lifeline for countless animals.
Tarangire’s scenery is lush and varied, with dense elephant grass, sprawling acacia woodlands, and pockets of lush groundwater forest. It's one of the best places in Tanzania to observe elephants up close—from playful calves to commanding bulls—often seen gathering along the riverbanks.
During your game drive, you'll also have the chance to spot giraffes, bushbuck, hartebeest, and an impressive range of predators including lions and leopards. Tarangire is a bird lover’s paradise too—home to more breeding bird species than any other park on Earth.

Serengeti National Park
After an early breakfast, we set off through the scenic Ngorongoro Conservation Area, making our way toward the world-renowned Serengeti National Park. Along the way, enjoy game viewing en route as the landscapes shift from lush highlands to the vast, open plains of the Serengeti.
The Serengeti is celebrated as one of the most famous wildlife sanctuaries on the planet, unmatched in its natural beauty and ecological significance. It boasts the highest concentration of plains game in Africa and is best known for the spectacular Great Wildebeest Migration.
Each year, over a million wildebeest and approximately 200,000 zebras embark on a dramatic journey—driven by ancient instincts—across the ecosystem in search of fresh grazing. From the northern hills to the southern plains during the short rains (October–November), and then west and north after the long rains (April–June), the migration is a breathtaking display of nature's raw power and resilience.

After an early breakfast, we depart the Serengeti and journey toward the majestic Ngorongoro Crater for a full-day game drive. This natural wonder is one of Africa’s most iconic safari destinations and is often referred to as the “Eighth Wonder of the World.”
Formed by a collapsed volcano, the Ngorongoro Crater is the largest intact volcanic caldera on Earth and boasts the highest density of wildlife in Africa. While it’s a popular destination and sightings of other vehicles are common, the sheer abundance and variety of wildlife make it an unforgettable experience.
The crater floor is home to the entire Big Five—lion, leopard, elephant, Cape buffalo, and the rare and endangered black rhinoceros. It's especially renowned for its year-round lion and buffalo sightings, along with thriving populations of zebra, wildebeest, hippos, and many more.
Enjoy a packed picnic lunch at one of the designated scenic sites within the crater, surrounded by this spectacular ecosystem.
