Your adventure begins with a 09:40 AM flight from Zanzibar, a scenic 20-minute journey across the channel to Saadani National Park. Upon landing, your guide will transfer you to Bab's Camp, your wilderness home, before introducing you to the surrounding ecosystems.

Start by exploring the nearby salt flats. Here, expert guides teach you to identify and interpret fresh animal tracks, revealing the overnight movements of elephants, lions, buffaloes, and antelopes. Next, enjoy a camera trap demonstration to see how conservationists use motion-activated tech to monitor park wildlife.

Lunch is served in the camp’s elevated viewing tower, offering panoramic bush views where animals frequently roam.

In the late afternoon, set off on a thrilling 4x4 game drive through Saadani's diverse habitats. Search for giraffes, zebras, warthogs, lions, and elephants before returning at sunset to relax around the camp and soak in the evening sounds of the African wilderness.

Game Drives & Wami River Boat Safari

Start with an early morning game drive as the sun rises and wildlife peaks. Explore the savannah for predators returning from hunts, elephants feeding, graceful giraffes, and diverse birdlife before returning to camp for breakfast.

Next, head to the Wami River for a scenic boat safari. Cruise past large pods of hippos, basking crocodiles, and vibrant birdlife like fish eagles and kingfishers. Watch for wildlife gathering at the riverbanks to drink—a perfect photo opportunity.

Return to Bab's Camp for lunch and relaxation. In the late afternoon, set out on another 4x4 game drive. As temperatures cool, animals like lions, buffaloes, and zebras become active, maximizing your chances for incredible sightings.

Return after sunset for dinner. In the evening, guides use thermal scopes to monitor the wilderness. If interesting nocturnal wildlife approaches the camp, you'll be invited to safely and quietly observe the magic of the African bush under the stars.

Walking Safari – Return to Zanzibar

Begin your final morning with an unforgettable guided walking safari accompanied by an experienced armed ranger. Following the walking safari, return to camp for breakfast before checking out.
At approximately 09:00 AM, transfer to Saadani Airstrip for your scheduled 11:05 AM flight back to Zanzibar. Arrive in Zanzibar at approximately 11:25 AM, bringing your unforgettable coastal safari adventure to an end.
