Your unforgettable Big Five Expedition begins after breakfast with a warm welcome from your professional safari guide in Arusha. After a short briefing about your adventure, you will depart for Tarangire National Park on a scenic drive of approximately two to three hours through the beautiful Tanzanian countryside. Tarangire is one of Northern Tanzania’s hidden gems and is renowned for its enormous elephant population, majestic baobab trees, and rich wildlife diversity. Upon arrival, you will enter the park and begin an exciting game drive, making your way toward a picturesque picnic area where you will have lunch before continuing to your lodge for the night.

Day 2
Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park

After a full breakfast, you will pack your luggage in the safari jeep and begin an en-route game drive to the Serengeti. Along the way, you will enjoy beautiful views of the Great Rift Valley and the Ngorongoro Crater before reaching the park around 3:00 p.m. You will eat lunch in the jeep along the way.
You will then have an evening game drive in the Central Serengeti, where you can enjoy the sunset and search for wildlife. After the game drive, you will have dinner and an overnight stay at a camp inside the park.
The major attractions of the Serengeti are its endless plains and the Great Wildebeest Migration, which involves large numbers of herbivores and predators moving across different parts of the Serengeti in search of food and water. Your driver-guide will make every effort to help you see part of the migration. The movement of vast numbers of Serengeti wildebeest, accompanied by large numbers of other animals, is a remarkable sight to experience.

You will wake up early in the morning and have breakfast before starting your game drive inside Serengeti National Park. The full day will be spent exploring the Serengeti and its magnificent wildlife, with your driver-guide taking you to key areas of the park.

Day 4

You will wake up early at 5:45 a.m. to see the sunrise inside the Serengeti. Enjoy an early morning short game drive or a balloon safari (booked separately upon request). Then, head back to the campsite for a hot brunch around 11:45 a.m. After eating, pack your belongings in the safari jeep and proceed with an en-route game drive through the Serengeti as you head towards the Ngorongoro.
Dinner and your overnight stay will be in Karatu, which close to the Ngorongoro area.

Day 5

You will wake up around 7:30 a.m. for breakfast and then descend to the Ngorongoro Crater floor, where you will be able to see all of the Big Five, as well as different types of birds and black rhinos. You will have lunch inside the crater while enjoying the scenery and high concentrations of flamingos.
After 6-7 hours of game driving on the crater floor, you will begin your ascent from the crater, passing through the campsite to collect and pack your luggage in the jeep before driving back to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 6

After breakfast, you will head to Lake Manyara for a full-day game drive and a short walk inside the park. You will have the opportunity to see tree-climbing lions and many flamingos attracted by the algae in the lake. You will also visit a hot spring and enjoy a short walk.
On the same day, you will visit a Maasai Boma, where you will see how the Maasai people live and learn about their culture and traditions. Later, you will drive back to Arusha and head to the airport, marking the end of your trip.
