Day 2

After breakfast, you depart for Arusha National Park, one of Tanzania’s most scenic and diverse parks. Today’s highlight is a guided walking safari accompanied by a professional ranger. Exploring on foot offers a completely different perspective — you will learn to read animal tracks, understand plant life, and experience wildlife at a slower, more intimate pace.

Following breakfast, you drive south toward Tarangire National Park, renowned for its huge elephant herds and iconic baobab trees. Upon entering the park, you begin an extensive game drive along the Tarangire River, a vital water source that attracts wildlife year-round.

Inside the crater, you may encounter black rhinos, large prides of lions, elephants, buffaloes, hippos, and flamingos at the soda lake. After a picnic lunch on the crater floor, you ascend back to the rim and continue to Karatu.
