Visit to a Spice Farm and Jozani Forest

Start your day with a visit to one of Zanzibar’s well-known spice farms. As you walk through the farm, you’ll see how spices like cloves, pepper, nutmeg, and cinnamon are grown and picked. You’ll get to touch, smell, and taste different spices and fruits, and learn how they are used in food and medicine.
You’ll also hear about the history of spice farming on the island and how Zanzibar got its name. This is a fun and hands on experience where you can use your senses to explore the island’s rich culture and farming life.

Nakupenda Sand Bank & Prison Island

Start with a boat trip to Nakupenda Beach, white sands, crystal-clear waters, and vibrant coral reefs perfect for swimming, sunbathing, and snorkeling. In the afternoon, visit historic Prison Island to explore old ruins, learn its colonial past, and meet the giant Aldabra tortoises. Enjoy more snorkeling or a relaxing swim before heading back.
