Day 4
Serengeti National Park
Serengeti National Park
Today is dedicated entirely to game driving in Serengeti National Park. The park is home to a rich variety of wildlife, including impalas, buffaloes, crocodiles, and hippos, but it is most famous for the great migrating herds of zebras and wildebeest. The movement of these animals is influenced by rainfall and can vary each year. In November and December, the herds migrate from the northern woodlands and hills to the grassy southern plains. During the longer rainy season from April to June, they return north.
In addition to the migrating herds, you may encounter predators such as leopards, cheetahs, and lions, which are always nearby.
