Welcome to Uganda the Pearl of Africa: Upon arrival you shall be welcomed by an Otters African Safaris guide at Entebbe International Airport from where you will transfer to your booked accommodation for the night. Depending on your time of arrival at the airport, you will have lunch before transferring to your hotel in Entebbe for some rest as you prepare for
the ultimate Uganda Safari experience the following day.

Day 2
Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with en-route Rhino Trekking
Pick up and transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with en-route Rhino Trekking
After your early morning breakfast, you will be picked by an Otter African Safaris guide and start your 4 to 5 hours journey to Murchison Falls National Park in Masindi in Western Uganda. You will have a first stop over at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola where you will have an hour on-foot rhino tracking experience. After the rhino tracking experience you will proceed to Masindi for lunch before proceeding to visit the top of Murchison Falls the powerful falls where the Nile squeezes through an 8m wide gorge and plunges with a thunderous roar into the Devil’s Cauldron creating a trademark rainbow. From the falls you will continue in the park and you will have a short evening game drive and later check in at the lodge. Overnight stay and Dinner at the lodge.

Day 3

Have your breakfast very early in the morning, depart for an early morning game drive as early as 6am and head into the park and look out for view the different mammals such as elephants, lions, leopards, Rothschild’s giraffes, buffaloes and antelopes like Uganda kob, topi, eland, bushbucks. You will have time to relax for lunch.
After lunch you will join the boat cruise to take you to the bottom of Murchison falls as you spot aquatic wildlife such as hippos, Nile crocodiles, and water birds. On return Catch up with sunset view before dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Day 4

After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the hotel and start your journey to Kibale National Park in Fort Portal in Western Uganda through the tea plantations and rolling hills to reach Fort portal town. While in Fort portal you will have an en-route lunch and continue your journey to Kibale National Park. After checking into the lodge, you will embark on a guided
nature walk in the Bigodi wetlands and you have a chance to spot many bird species as it's home to 138 bird species and some primate species. After the swamp walk, return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 5

You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then report at the park headquarters at Kanyanchu at 7:30am for briefing by the guides about the dos and don’ts while with the chimpanzees. You will then embark on a trek for the search of the chimpanzees and once you have spotted a group, you will spend one hour with them observing their different behaviours and you will also spot other primates in the forest. After the chimpanzee trekking experience you will be awarded a chimpanzee trekking certificate and after you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will embark on the community visit around the villages near Kibale National Park where you will visit various sites like Rest in bananas where you will see how they make different drinks from bananas, the traditional healer, the coffee plantations among others.

Day 6

After your morning breakfast, you will check out of the lodge in Kibale National Park and you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park in Kasese district. You will arrive at the lodge where you will check in as you wait for lunch. After checking in at the lodge, you will have lunch.
After lunch at the lodge, you will go for a 2-hour boat cruise trip on the Kazinga Channel which connects Lakes George and Edward and you will surely be fascinated by the concentrations of giant hippos, buffaloes, elephants and crocodiles among others. You will also see many varieties of birds at the water shores. You will have dinner and overnight at the lodge.

Have your breakfast very early in the morning, depart for an early morning game drive as early as 6am to the rolling plains of Uganda’s second largest National Park and look out for: lions, leopards, Elephants, buffaloes, hippos, waterbucks, warthogs, leopards, Uganda Kobs, Hyenas, and Hippos. For any birder, there are quite a number of birds to sight too during the drive. You will also do a lion experiential game drive where you will interact more with the lions and predators. After the game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch.
After lunch you will relax at the lodge. Dinner and Overnight stay at the lodge.

After your early morning breakfast, you will checkout of the lodge in Queen Elizabeth National Park and you will transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha sector. You will have a game drive in the Ishasha sector and you will have a chance to see the tree climbing lions that are seen resting in the fig trees. After that you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and you will have lunch along the way. You will then check in at the lodge. Dinner and Overnight stay at the lodge.

Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will wake up early in the morning for breakfast and then report at the park headquarters at 7:30am for a briefing about the dos and don’ts while with the gorillas. Remember to carry your packed lunch and enough drinking water since you may stay in the forest up to afternoon in search of these gentle giants in their natural environment. Gorilla trekking exercise is physically demanding but an exciting activity! You may need to hire a porter to assist you during tracking and these are readily available at the park headquarters. Time allowed to spend with gorillas is 1 hour when you have found them and this is enough to ask all the questions about their behavior. Return to the lodge after tracking and freshen up.
In the evening, you will go for a community visit where you will visit the Batwa pygmies where you will learn their ways of living like hunting, making fire among others. Dinner and overnight at your lodge.

After breakfast depart from the lodge in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and head to Lake Mburo National Park, the smallest Savannah National park in Uganda. You will reach the park in the afternoon for lunch, and then relax as you prepare for an evening game drive in the park. You will then have an evening game drive where you will encounter wildlife such as
giraffes, zebras, impalas, elands, buffaloes, Waterbucks among others. Dinner and Overnight Stay at the lodge.

After your morning breakfast, you will embark on a guided Horseback riding in Lake Mburo National Park as early as 7am with the guidance of an armed game ranger and you will see many animals such as Giraffes, zebras, impalas, among others. After the guided horseback riding safari, you will return to the lodge for relaxation and lunch.
After lunch, you will relax at the lodge. Dinner and overnight stay at the lodge.

Day 12
Transfer back to Entebbe or Entebbe International Park
Transfer back to Entebbe or Entebbe International Park
After your morning breakfast at the lodge in Lake Mburo National Park, you will check out of the lodge and transfer to Entebbe or Entebbe International Airport. Along the way you will have a stop at the Equator in Kayabwe for memorable photos and the famous water experiment that shows that earth is separated into the Northern and Southern Hemisphere and you will have a chance to enjoy both the hemispheres. You will have an en-route lunch and you will continue your journey to Entebbe or Entebbe International Airport. Don't forget to buy a souvenir as remembrance for the memorable safari you have had in Uganda.
