Day 1

Embark on a full-day adventure starting with a scenic drive from Arusha to Materuni Village. Upon arrival, a local guide will introduce you to the culture and way of life of the Chagga people. Next, you'll take a 40-minute hike through lush tropical landscapes to the stunning Materuni Waterfall. Here, you can admire the 80-meter cascade and even take a refreshing swim. A packed lunch will be provided for you to enjoy in the beautiful surroundings.

Afterward, you'll visit a traditional coffee farm where you can learn about the process of making coffee from start to finish. You'll get to participate in grinding and roasting the beans and then enjoy a fresh cup of coffee.

The tour continues to the peaceful Chemka Hot Springs, where you can swim in the clear, mineral-rich waters. You can relax on the shore or, for an extra cost, enjoy a barbecue. Keep an eye out for baboons and other monkeys that live in the nearby trees.

The day concludes with a drive back to your hotel in Arusha.
