Day 1

Nairobi - Lake Naivasha

Your adventure begins with a 7:30 AM pickup from your Nairobi hotel or airport. Enjoy a 2–2.5 hour drive to Lake Naivasha, where you’ll check in at your lodge and have lunch Proceed to Hell’s Gate National Park, a unique park where you can explore on foot, by bicycle, or by safari vehicle. Optional bike rental is available (from $7) for cycling through the scenic landscapes. Spot zebras, giraffes, gazelles, elands, hartebeests, and diverse birdlife including vultures and eagles during your guided wildlife experience. In the afternoon, you may enjoy an optional boat safari on Lake Naivasha ($20 per person) or a guided walk on Crescent Island among free-roaming wildlife ($33 per adult). Please inform your guide in advance if interested. Alternatively, relax at your hotel, followed by dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, check out and drive to the world-famous Masai Mara National Reserve. This vast reserve is part of the Serengeti ecosystem, home to the Big Five: lions, elephants, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos. Enjoy lunch upon arrival and then embark on an evening game drive, spotting wildlife and birds with your expert guide. Dinner and overnight at enkroko mara camp.

After an early breakfast, head out with a picnic lunch for a full-day game drive in the Masai Mara. Explore the open savannah in search of the Big Five, along with cheetahs, hyenas, giraffes, and large herds of wildebeest and zebras. Enjoy a picnic lunch in the wild, then continue your game viewing, with a seasonal chance to see the famous Mara River crossings (July–September). Return to camp in the evening for dinner and overnight stay.

After breakfast, you may visit a traditional Maasai village (optional, $10–$20 paid at the village) to learn about their culture, traditions, and daily way of life, including traditional dances and beadwork. Later, depart for Lake Nakuru, enjoying a scenic drive with stunning views of Mt. Longonot and Lake Naivasha along the way. Stop for lunch en route before arriving in the evening at buraha zenoni for dinner and overnight stay.
