Drive to Nyerere NP from Dar es salaam & sunset boat Safarii

The journey begins early in the morning pick-up from Dar es Salaam at the agreed Point as we drive south towards the legendary Nyerere National Park 6-7 hours. The road journey offers fascinating scene of rural Tanzania, passing through villages and different landscapes.

Upon Arrival at Nyerere Tented Camp it will be time for lunch, we’ll have a chance to rest and enter in the wilderness atmosphere, prepare for a spectacular sunset view boat safari along the Rufiji River seeing vast park. Sighting elephants and buffaloes drinking from it, hippos wallow, crocodiles as they bask, and an incredible variety of birdlife including the African fish eagle swoop across the water as the sun dips below the horizon. Return to camp for a peaceful dinner and overnight stay under the African stars.

Full day guided game drive at Nyerere NP

Early breakfast, and off to the jungle for a full-day guided game drive across the savannah and woodland of Nyerere National Park. The park is home to the most popular wild dogs, and We’ll also have a chance to spot prides of lions, herds of elephants, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, and elusive leopards.

The diversity here is unmatched – from open plains to the forests, every turn unveils new surprises. You’ll enjoy a packed picnic lunch in a scenic bush setting, surrounded by nature’s voices. As the sun begins to descend, we return to the camp for a freshly prepared delicious dinner and a rest for the evening sharing safari stories by the campfire.

Morning game drive & Night Game drive

The day began with a Wonderfully sunrise game drive, a perfect time to sight predators returning from a night hunt and herbivores begin their day. With the morning mist rising and golden light fall over the plains, this is an ideal time for photography and unforgettable sightings.

After a good morning game drive return to camp for rest till afternoon and then early dinner. Later in the vening, venture back into the wild for a night game drive, starting around 07:00 PM to sight nocturnal animals. Equipped with spotlights and guided by experienced rangers, We’ll explore the mysterious nocturnal world – spotting bush babies, genets, porcupines, nightjars, and perhaps even a hunting leopard or hyena. Get-back to the camp around 11:00 PM for a good rest.

Guided Walking Safari and drive back to dar es salaam

Wake up Early in the Morning for an authentic walking safari, guided by experienced bush experts and accompanied by armed rangers for our safety. This experience allows you to connect with the African wilderness in a truly personal way. We'll learn how to identify animal tracks, spot hidden insects, and observe a variety of bird species up so close. Walking quietly through the bush reveals smaller creatures mostly missed during vehicle safaris. Hear the calls of wildlife, smell the earth scents of nature, and feel the wild as lives around you. It's a rare opportunity to experience the rhythm of the wild beneath our feet.

After the walking safari, get back to the lodge for breakfast, then begin our Safari back to Dar es Salaam. With unforgettable memories and a deeper Connection with nature, we’ll arrive in the city by evening where you will meet with the office representative that will transfer you to the agreed point, This marks the end of your incredible safari adventure.
