Your adventure begins early in the morning with pickup from your hotel in Zanzibar and transfer to Zanzibar Airport for your scheduled flight to Nyerere National Park.
Enjoy a spectacular flight over the turquoise waters of the Indian Ocean before crossing Tanzania's beautiful landscapes toward the vast wilderness of southern Tanzania.
Upon arrival at the airstrip inside Nyerere National Park, you will be warmly welcomed by your professional safari guide. After a short briefing, begin your first exciting game drive as you travel through the park toward the camp.
The afternoon game drive offers excellent opportunities to encounter large elephant herds, buffaloes, giraffes, zebras, wildebeests, impalas, warthogs, and numerous antelope species. Predators such as lions, leopards, and hyenas may also be spotted as they become active later in the day.

Day 2
Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park
Full-Day Game Drive in Nyerere National Park
After an early breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive to explore different regions of this magnificent national park.
Throughout the day, your experienced guide will search for the park's remarkable animals while sharing fascinating information about their behavior and the surrounding ecosystem.
Large populations of elephants and buffaloes roam freely, while giraffes gracefully browse the acacia trees. Lions can often be found resting beneath shady trees or stalking prey across the plains. Lucky visitors may even spot the elusive leopard or the endangered African wild dog, one of the park's greatest wildlife treasures.
A picnic lunch will be served at a scenic location inside the park, allowing you to enjoy the wilderness while surrounded by nature.
Continue your afternoon game drive before returning to camp in the late afternoon.
Spend the evening relaxing around the camp, enjoying dinner beneath the African sky and listening to the sounds of nearby wildlife.

Day 3
Guided Bush Walk – Boat Safari – Flight Back to Zanzibar
Guided Bush Walk – Boat Safari – Flight Back to Zanzibar
Start your day before sunrise with a guided walking safari (approximately 6:30 AM – 8:30 AM), accompanied by an armed park ranger and experienced guide. Explore the African bush on foot while learning about animal tracks, native plants, birdlife, insects, and the unique ecosystem of Nyerere National Park. Return to camp for breakfast.
Later, enjoy a scenic boat safari on the Rufiji River (approximately 10:00 AM – 12:30 PM), one of Tanzania's finest wildlife experiences. Cruise along the river to spot hippos, crocodiles, elephants at the riverbanks, waterbucks, monitor lizards, and a variety of bird species including fish eagles, kingfishers, and herons, with excellent opportunities for photography.
Return to camp for a hot lunch and time to relax before your transfer to the airstrip for your scheduled afternoon flight back to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel, marking the end of your unforgettable Nyerere safari.
