Arrival in Arusha

Upon arrival at Kilimanjaro International Airport or Arusha Airport, you’ll be warmly greeted by your driver-guide or Full Package Adventures representative. You’ll then transfer to your Arusha accommodation for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay as you prepare for your safari. If desired, an optional city tour of Arusha can be arranged, giving you a chance to explore Tanzania’s vibrant safari capital, meet locals, and enjoy its culture before your adventure begins.

After breakfast, you’ll be picked up from your lodge and driven to Arusha National Park with packed lunch. Day 4 Ngorongoro Crater

After breakfast, your guide will pick you up from the lodge and transfer you to Ngorongoro for a game drive inside the crater, with lunch boxes provided. After the drive, you will be taken to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Africa’s natural wonders, is the world’s largest uninterrupted caldera. Here, wildlife and nomadic communities coexist, with livestock grazing alongside wild animals. The crater is home to around 30,000 large mammals year-round, including lions, elephants, buffaloes, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as a rich variety of birds such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. Expect to see abundant wildlife within a short time.

Tarangire National Park takes its name from the Tarangire River, which provides a vital water source for wildlife during the dry season. The park is famous for its large elephant herds, majestic baobab trees, and a mix of seasonal swamps and savanna landscapes. You may also witness lions stalking prey or leopards resting in the treetops, making for an unforgettable wildlife experience.
