You will be met at Nairobi International Airport or your hotel by your Tapestry of Africa Safari Guide. After a warm welcome and safari briefing, set out on the drive to the world-renowned Masai Mara National Reserve. Along the way, enjoy scenic views of rolling hills and open plains, with a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint to take in sweeping vistas. Continue through colorful villages and farmlands before arriving at your lodge or camp in time for lunch.

The next three days are devoted to thrilling adventures in the Masai Mara. Each day you’ll set out on morning and afternoon game drives, the best times to spot wildlife when animals are most active. The reserve is famed for its Big Five—lion, elephant, buffalo, leopard, and rhino. If you prefer, your guide can also arrange an all-day game drive with a picnic in the bush, giving you even more time immersed in the Mara’s breathtaking savannahs and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

Onward to the Iconic Serengeti

Today is a long but rewarding journey that takes you deeper into the heart of Africa. After breakfast, you’ll drive 2–3 hours to the Isebania border, passing through rural villages and countryside that showcase the rhythms of everyday life. After completing border formalities, you’ll meet your Tanzanian safari guide and enjoy lunch before continuing the 3–4 hour journey toward Serengeti National Park. As you approach the gates, your adventure begins with a 2–3 hour game drive en route to your lodge, where dinner and a warm welcome await.

The next three days are devoted to exploring the Serengeti, one of the most iconic safari destinations on earth. Each day will feature game drives in the morning and afternoon, when wildlife is most active, or if you prefer, an exhilarating full-day game drive with a picnic lunch. This flexibility ensures you experience the Serengeti at your own pace while maximizing your opportunities to witness its breathtaking landscapes and incredible wildlife.

The turquoise waters, swaying palms, and white-sand beaches of Zanzibar create the perfect setting for relaxation.
