Day 1

Start your day with a pickup from your Arusha hotel and enjoy a scenic drive through Tanzania's highlands, passing the Great Rift Valley, on your way to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area.
In the afternoon, you'll descend into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. This unique ecosystem is home to a high density of wildlife, including the "Big Five." Your time here will be spent on a game drive, complete with a picnic lunch on the crater floor.
As evening approaches, you'll climb out of the crater and head to your lodge or camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2

Olduvai Gorge & Serengeti National Park

You'll visit the museum there to see the early human fossils and tools discovered by the Leakey family.
Then, you'll drive into Serengeti National Park, and the journey itself is a game drive. As you travel across the vast plains, you'll spot wildlife on your way to camp.
In the evening, you'll settle into your tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay, where you can enjoy the sounds of the bush and the starry night sky.

Day 3

Serengeti, Overnight in Karatu

You'll spend the day exploring the Serengeti on game drives, searching for predators like lions and cheetahs, as well as a wide variety of other animals. If the season is right, you might even see the Great Migration. In the late afternoon, you'll drive out of the park and travel to the nearby town of Karatu for dinner and to spend the night. Staying here shortens the long drive back to Arusha tomorrow.
