5-Day Mombasa, Shimba Hills & the Tsavos Experience

Mombasa - Shimba Hills National Reserve

You'll be picked up from your hotel after breakfast and drive to Shimba Hills National Reserve. You will start straight away with a game drive within the rainy forest; visit the Sheldrick Falls and go for game viewing. We will stop for lunch at Shimba Hills Tree Lodge. Relax after lunch until around 4:00 pm and then depart for another game drive: the sundowner at Shimba. After the sundowner, return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Shimba Hills to Tsavo East National Park

Have breakfast at the Shimba Lodge. After breakfast, you will proceed for a game drive to the Sheldrick's Falls until around 10:00 am and then drive out of the reserve heading to Tsavo East. You will enter the park through Bachuma Gate as you head to Voi Wildlife Lodge with game viewing en-route. After lunch, go for an afternoon game drive from 4:00 pm. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at your safari lodge.

Tsavo East National Park to Amboseli National Park

After an early breakfast, drive to Amboseli arriving in time for lunch. After lunch, go out for an afternoon game drive. Mount Kilimanjaro offers a scenic background for photographers here. Amboseli National Park also hosts many animals such as lion, elephant, buffalo, cheetah, leopard, giraffe, monkey, and zebra among others. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Kibo Safari Camp.

Amboseli National Park - Tsavo West National Park

Have a pre-breakfast game drive in further search of animals and better chances of seeing Mount Kilimanjaro. After breakfast, depart for Ziwani Tented Camp in Tsavo West with a game drive en-route. We should be arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, relax for a bit and then go for a night game drive. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Ziwani Tented Camp.

Tsavo West National Park - Mombasa

After an early breakfast, proceed for a morning game drive safari with a guide to look for birds and other animals. There is a large variety of bird species here at Tsavo West. Later, depart for Mombasa arriving late in the afternoon.
