After an early breakfast, your journey to the iconic Serengeti National Park begins. The drive itself is a safari, taking you through the scenic landscapes of the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, where you'll already have opportunities to spot wildlife before reaching the park gate. As you enter the Serengeti, you’ll be mesmerized by the "endless plains" stretching to the horizon, a sight that defines the ultimate safari in the African savanna.
By midday, your thrilling game drive gets underway in the heart of the central Serengeti. Led by your expert Serengeti Wonders guide, you will search for the majestic Big Cats, lions, cheetahs, and leopards, and witness the incredible herds of the Great Migration if your visit aligns with their seasonal movement. You'll enjoy a picnic lunch surrounded by the stunning scenery of this natural wonder. After this final game drive, we'll begin our scenic journey to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As we leave the endless plains behind, the landscape will transform into the lush, green highlands. You’ll get your first glimpse of the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater as we make our way to your lodge, perched directly on the crater rim. Wake up to a beautiful sunrise at your lodge on the Ngorongoro Crater rim. After a hearty breakfast, you'll begin your descent into the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site teeming with wildlife. As you journey to the crater floor, the breathtaking scale of this natural amphitheater will become clear.
Led by your expert Serengeti Wonders guide, you will spend the morning on an exhilarating game drive, searching for the "Big Five" within this unique ecosystem, the best for spotting black rhinos. You’ll also see lions, elephants, buffalos, and a variety of other wildlife. We'll stop for a delightful picnic lunch on the crater floor, allowing you to soak in the incredible surroundings.
After an unforgettable game drive, we will ascend the crater walls and begin our return journey to Arusha. This marks the end of your incredible safari adventure. You will be dropped off at your hotel in Arusha or at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) for your onward flight.
