Nairobi to Amboseli National Park

Your journey starts with a morning departure from Nairobi, heading south through scenic landscapes toward Amboseli National Park. You’ll arrive at the park in time for lunch at your lodge or tented camp, where you can relax and settle into your accommodations. In the afternoon, head out for your first thrilling game drive, as the golden light enhances the beauty of the landscape and the animals begin to stir. Amboseli is home to a wide variety of wildlife including elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, lions, and hippos. The plains make it easy to spot animals, and on a clear day, Mount Kilimanjaro provides a majestic backdrop for unforgettable photos. Return to your camp for a hearty dinner under the stars, followed by a relaxing evening by the campfire or in your tent. Listen to the sounds of the African night and drift off to sleep surrounded by nature.

Amboseli Exploration - Photographer's Paradise

Rise early for a pre-breakfast game drive around 6:30 am, the perfect time to witness Mount Kilimanjaro in its full glory, often visible at dawn before clouds roll in. This is also when wildlife is most active, offering you the best chance to observe predators on the move or herds beginning their daily routines.

After the drive, return to camp for a late breakfast and spend the late morning at your leisure—relax at the lodge, enjoy a book on your veranda, or take in the panoramic views with a cup of coffee in hand.

In the afternoon, embark on another exciting game drive, exploring different areas of the park. Keep your eyes open for elusive wildlife such as cheetahs, hyenas, and large flocks of bird species, including flamingos, herons, and eagles. Amboseli is an Important Bird Area, making it a haven for bird lovers as well.

As the sun sets over the plains, return to camp for dinner and reflect on the day’s sightings around the campfire.

Farewell to the Wild -Transfer to Nairobi city

After an early breakfast, it’s time to say goodbye to Amboseli’s breathtaking scenery and wildlife. Depart and begin your journey back to Nairobi, arriving by early afternoon. If you're continuing your holiday in Diani Beach or another destination, arrangements can be made for your transfer or domestic flight.
