Depart Aberdare to Lake Nakuru and Lake Naivasha

Depart the Aberdare and proceed to the Lake Nakuru
The drive is via Thomson’s Falls where you stop to view the scenic waterfalls and take photos and lunch at the nearby Panari Resort at no extra cost. You will arrive in Lake Nakuru in the afternoon where you shall go for a game drive around the lake.
Lake Nakuru National Park: note that the flamingo numbers have been reducing due to climate change but the park itself remains stunning.
The few quantity of flamingos is accompanied by other birdlife – pelicans, cormorants, kingfishers among others. We shall proceed to Lake Naivasha after the game drive.

Lake Naivasha to Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After a delicious breakfast, we shall check out and proceed for a morning boat safari to explore lake Naivasha, a freshwater Rift valley lake.
Watch hippos lazy in the water and several bird species.
Next will be a guided walking safari at the Crescent Island.
Depart Naivasha and drive to the famous Maasai Mara game reserve, home to the big five.
We shall check in and have lunch with a short rest and later proceed for an afternoon game viewing drive in this spectacular reserve.

Full day - Maasai Mara Game Reserve

After breakfast, depart for a full-day game drive with a picnic lunch near the Mara River, close to the iconic migration crossing area.

Morning and afternoon game drives in search of the Big Five, as well as the countless other species that reside in the vast reserve.

We expect to see a wide variety of wildlife, including giraffes, elephants, zebras, hippos, baboons, warthogs, hyenas, impalas, hartebeest, wildebeest, lions and cheetahs among others.

In the months of July and August, millions of animals mostly wildebeest and zebras move from the Serengeti in Tanzania to Maasai Mara before returning to Tanzania between from October onwards.
