Nairobi to Masai Mara

Your adventure begins with a pick-up, followed by a scenic drive to the legendary Masai Mara via Mai Mahiu. From July to October, the Mara hosts the great migration — millions of wildebeest and zebra crossing in search of greener pastures, pursued by predators. Upon arrival, you'll check in and unwind. At 5:00 PM, you'll join Maasai morans for a guided walking safari followed by a cultural visit to a traditional Maasai village. You'll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

More game drives

Option 1:
You'll enjoy a relaxed breakfast before departing at around 7:30 AM for a full-day game drive with a packed picnic lunch. This option allows you to explore deeper into the Masai Mara, including a visit to the Mara River, the dramatic stage of the great migration (seasonal). With a full day out, you'll have more chances to spot a wide variety of wildlife. You'll return to your lodge or camp in the late afternoon.

Option 2:
You'll set off at 6:00 AM for an early morning game drive, the perfect time to catch predators in action and wildlife at its most active. You will return to your lodge for a hearty breakfast and spend the late morning and early afternoon at leisure. Then, at 4:00 PM, you'll head out again for an afternoon game drive, returning by 6:30 PM for dinner and your overnight stay.

Masai Mara to Nairobi

Depending on your return travel schedule, you'll coordinate with your guide on the best time to depart the Masai Mara. You will then be transferred either to your preferred location in Nairobi or directly to the airport for your journey home.
