Your Botswana expedition begins the moment you touch down at Maun Airport, where a dedicated ranger and guide await to whisk you away on a scenic 20-minute transfer to the peaceful Boteti Tented Safari Lodge.
Upon arrival, enjoy a refreshing welcome drink and a brief orientation to prepare you for the adventures ahead. Take some time to settle into your luxury safari tent.
As the afternoon heat begins to fade, you will head to the riverbanks for a signature sunset mokoro ride. Gliding silently through the calm waters of the Boteti River, you will have front-row seats to observe hippos, crocodiles, and an array of vibrant waterbirds. If river levels are too low, you will instead enjoy an authentic cultural immersion at Xobe Village, featuring traditional dances and local craftsmanship.
The day concludes with a delicious traditional dinner served around a crackling open fire, perfectly framed by a brilliant canopy of stars.

Awaken to the calls of the wild and enjoy freshly brewed coffee and rusks before setting off early for a full-day expedition into the legendary Moremi Game Reserve.
Renowned for its extraordinary biodiversity, Moremi is home to the "Big Five," as well as rare sightings of cheetah and African wild dog. From your open safari vehicle, your expert ranger will navigate diverse landscapes, providing fascinating insights into animal behaviour and the intricate balance of this thriving ecosystem.
A gourmet packed lunch will be served at a scenic wilderness spot, allowing you to relax and breathe in the untamed beauty of the reserve. As the day wanes, you will proceed to the Khwai Community Concession.
Depending on your arrival and preference, you may choose to embark on a tranquil afternoon mokoro safari on the Mbudi River, searching for elephants and lechwe in the shallows.
Tonight, experience the raw heart of the bush in a comfortable dome tent at Khwai Mokoro Safaris and Campsites.

Your final morning in Khwai starts with a light breakfast as the sun casts a golden glow over the floodplains. If you missed the previous afternoon's water excursion, you could opt for a serene morning mokoro trip along the Sable Alley River, drifting through winding channels as your poler points out delicate frogs and passing wildlife.
The return journey to Maun is an adventure in its own right, consisting of a game drive through the wildlife-rich Mogotho area. You will explore the riverfronts where elephants often feed and visit the striking, skeletal landscape of Dead Tree Island. A unique highlight includes a visit to a local hyena den, offering a rare glimpse into the lives of these intelligent scavengers.
Your safari concludes with a comfortable drop-off at Maun Airport or your preferred local location, leaving you with memories of Botswana's most iconic landscapes.
