Drive from Arusha to Tarangire National Park

Your safari adventure begins as our experienced driver guide picks you up from your accommodation in Arusha or directly from the airport. From there, you'll set off on a scenic drive to Tarangire National Park, where a day of wildlife exploration awaits, complete with a delicious picnic style hot lunch.

Famed for its rich biodiversity and massive elephant herds, Tarangire offers a striking mix of landscapes rolling savannahs, seasonal wetlands, and ancient baobab trees. The life-giving Tarangire River flows through the heart of the park, attracting a wide variety of wildlife. Keep your eyes peeled for lions stealthily stalking their prey or leopards lounging in the treetops, surveying the grasslands below.

Ngorongoro crater to killimanjaro International Airport

After breakfast, we’ll depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area, heading straight into the iconic crater for a full day game drive, with packed lunch boxes to enjoy amidst the stunning scenery.

A designated UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Ngorongoro Crater is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and one of Africa’s most remarkable natural wonders. This unique ecosystem supports approximately 30,000 large mammals throughout the year, including elephants, lions, buffaloes, rhinos, and cheetahs. The crater is also a haven for bird enthusiasts, offering sightings of flamingos, eagles, buzzards, and many other species.

After an incredible day of wildlife viewing and exploration, we’ll make our way back to Arusha Airport or Kilimanjaro International Airport for your onward flight or journey home.
