Day 1

Start with an early flight from Zanzibar to Nyerere National Park (Selous Game Reserve), a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Enjoy a full-day game drive across savannahs, lakes, and rivers, spotting elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, hippos, and African wild dogs. Pause for a picnic lunch in the wilderness before continuing your Tanzania safari adventure along the Rufiji River. In the late afternoon, fly back to Zanzibar, ending your unforgettable Southern Tanzania safari.
