Mikumi National Park

Mikumi National Park provides comprehensive wildlife viewing, with expert guides driving visitors through the Mkata Floodplain to see abundant animals like lions, elephants, zebras, and wildebeest, plus birdlife and unique scenery. The drive typically includes a stop for a picnic lunch and can extend into the evening with a special night drive to observe nocturnal animals like leopards and hyenas, offering a completely different perspective of the park.

Half-day game drive - Maasai culture - Transfer to Dar es Salaam

You'll start a game drive to explore the park's varied habitats, including the Mkata Floodplain, where you can spot animals such as elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, and buffaloes.

Maasai Culture
After the game drive, or in the afternoon, you'll visit a Maasai village. Here, you will learn about their traditional way of life, witness their cultural dances, and have the opportunity to buy handicrafts.

Transfer to Dar es Salaam
You will then drive or take a train back to Dar es Salaam, arriving in the evening.
