You will descend into the UNESCO-designated Ngorongoro Crater, one of Africa's most famous safari locations, following an early breakfast. The Maasai word "Gift of Life" is the source of the name "Ngorongoro," which is a fitting homage to this wildlife-rich natural beauty. You will stop at the rim to enjoy expansive, all-encompassing views of the enormous caldera below before venturing within the crater. As you explore the crater bottom, which is home to elephants, lions, buffalo, zebras, hippos, and a diverse range of birds, get ready for amazing wildlife encounters. Savor a picnic lunch by the hippo pool at midday while taking in the sights and sounds of the natural world.
