Day 2

Masai Mara National Reserve

After breakfast, you will take off for a morning game drive that will take you on a search for great predators and perhaps even cubs. On the plains, you will see enormous herds of grazing animals as well as get the chance to spy on the elusive cheetah and leopard hiding amidst the acacia boughs. You will return to camp for lunch and then return to the reserve for an evening game drive along the famous Mara River. The river is the gateway of the annual migration of wildebeest from Serengeti to Masai Mara. This great spectacle features the pounding of over 6 million hooves from the vast Serengeti Plains to the champagne coloured hills of Kenya’s Masai Mara. Over 1 million wildebeest, 300,000 gazelle and some 200,000 zebra relentlessly tracked by Africa’s greatest predators migrate in a clockwise fashion over 1,800 miles each year.

Day 3

Masai Mara National Reserve- Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, you will depart Masai Mara and head to Lake Nakuru National Park; making a stop at the Great Rift Valley viewpoint for the opportunity to take some spectacular photos. Arrive in time for lunch at Lake Nakuru Lodge, followed by a late afternoon game drive. Lake Nakuru is known all over the world for its pink flamingoes. At times, there may be almost 2 million flamingos gathering along the lake’s shore. Besides the flamingoes, there are roughly 400 other species of birds visiting the lake as well as many species of wildlife. At the end of the day, you will return to camp for dinner and your overnight stay.
