Your safari begins upon arrival at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA). You will be warmly welcomed by your driver-guide and depart immediately for the Masai Mara National Reserve, driving through the Great Rift Valley with photo stops en route.
Arrive at PrideInn Mara Camp in time for lunch and relaxation. Later in the afternoon, set off for your first game drive across the golden plains, searching for elephants, lions, giraffes, and more. Return to camp for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, spend the day exploring the Masai Mara, one of the world’s richest wildlife reserves. Morning and afternoon game drives take you in search of the Big Five—lion, leopard, buffalo, elephant, and rhino—as well as cheetahs, hyenas, and hippos along the Mara River.
A picnic lunch in the wild allows you to enjoy uninterrupted game viewing. Return to your camp in the evening for relaxation around the campfire.

Enjoy a sunrise game drive before breakfast. Later, check out and drive to Lake Naivasha, arriving at Sopa Lodge Naivasha in time for lunch.
In the afternoon, take a boat ride on Lake Naivasha, spotting hippos, fish eagles, and the unique birdlife of the Rift Valley lakes. You may also visit Crescent Island for a guided walking safari among giraffes and antelope.

After breakfast, drive north to the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, one of Kenya’s premier wildlife sanctuaries, famous for its endangered rhino conservation and chimpanzee sanctuary.
Arrive at Sweetwaters Serena Camp for lunch before heading out on an afternoon game drive. Ol Pejeta is home to the largest population of black rhinos in East Africa and is the last remaining habitat for the two northern white rhinos. Return to your luxurious tented camp for dinner and an overnight stay.

After breakfast, transfer to Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your flight to Kigali, Rwanda. On arrival, meet your Ugandan driver-guide and begin a scenic drive (approx. 4–5 hrs) through rolling hills and terraced landscapes to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
Arrive at Kaara Mountain Lodge for dinner and overnight, surrounded by misty hills and lush rainforest.

Today is the highlight of your journey. After an early breakfast, head to the Bwindi Park Headquarters for a briefing. Begin your gorilla trekking adventure, hiking through dense forest with expert trackers. Trekking may last 2–6 hours, depending on the gorilla family’s location.
Once found, spend one magical hour observing the gorillas as they feed, groom, and play. This is one of Africa’s most unforgettable wildlife experiences.
After the trek, transfer to Sharp Island Lodge on the shores of Lake Bunyonyi, often called the “Switzerland of Africa.”.

Later, check out and drive back to Kigali, Rwanda (approx. 4–5 hrs). Depending on your flight schedule, you may opt for a Kigali city tour.
Transfer to Kigali International Airport, marking the end of your East African safari adventure.
