Masai Mara National Reserve Exploration

Masai Mara National Reserve Exploration

Early mornings and late afternoons are considered the best times to spot animals as they are most active. This is when the big cats are most active and can provide some of the most dramatic photography opportunities.

You will search for the Big Five with game drives across the grassy plains of the Masai Mara National Reserve. You will have an opportunity to drive down to the Mara River, the site of the great annual migration from July to October. The immense herds of wildebeest and zebra are a magnificent sight, matched only by the drama of the predators waiting for them.

To add more excitement to your experience, you should take advantage of several optional events we offer at an extra cost. Experience a visit to the local Masai people in their nearby village and a pre-dawn hot air balloon ride high above the reserve as the morning light breaks across the golden savannah. Your driver-guide can arrange either of these optional excursions.
