Best Time to Visit
Mauritius can be visited at any time. Most people coming on a beach holiday enjoy the hot summer months (December to April), especially if they want to escape the northern hemisphere winter at that time. If you like to hike or explore you might prefer the cooler shoulder months of May and June and September to November. January to March is the cyclone season and it tends to be very wet at that time.
