Lots of wildlife, including viewing opportunities different than Maasai. Gorgeous landscaping. Electric fencing, relatively small area, and high tourism and proximity to village diminish bush vibe. Nakuru was gorgeous but felt more like a very well done zoo or Jurassic Park movie set than wild and unpredictable bush. I would visit this place again because it is so scenic and wildlife density seems much higher than Maasai, but I would prefer to do it on foot than in vehicle. Birding was excellent (it is on a lake) even though I was the only one in the group that was interested in birds (we didn't spend any time actively looking for birds).

Love this place. It is one of the most beautiful in the world. The scenery is stunning and wildlife really amazing. Great vibe. Very conveniently located off main road and large town.

Been here three times. Depending on the time of year will necessitate the quantity of feathered friends you will see. The animal viewing is also superb as is the surrounding area.

The Kruger of Kenya. Very expensive, almost like a theme park with the amount of people and the swanky facilities. But the wildlife is great - really easy to see most animals and the birds are great because of the lake. Lots of flamingos. All the big animals here - hyena, rhino etc. Brilliant park, especially if you are on a first time safari. Easy to reach from Nairobi aswell.

Lake Nakuru was my first safari; it left me stunned by its beauty and abundance of wildlife. I toured the park with a friend in our own vehicle. It was safe, easy and breathtaking.

The entrance fees to Lake Nukuru were outrageously high, given the quality of the experience. It is a lovely lake, but do not go with the expectation of a remote wilderness experience.

The scenery is good, but civilisation is encroaching.

One of Kenya's best parks. Lots of birds, eagles. Lots of close up encounters with wildlife including white rhino
