Our unique possibility to see a rhino with her baby. Birds have been a little bit far to take good pictures.

Great place to sight exotic birds and all types of herbivores and warthogs. Fortunate to see a Rhino with a month-old calf very close by. There are lions too. The Lake itself is a great view from every part of the park

We could spot the Black Rhino and Rothschild Giraffe as well. The most interesting sight for me was of a bushman walking and we had spotted a lioness not very far ago.

Nakuru is a little too near "civilization"--we preferred the Mara.

I did not have a lot of luck. It was very dry on my visit except right at the lake. I got good shots there, but ate dust most of the day.

Being able to "feed" an eagle. Guide whistled and tossed a fish in the lake which the eagle swooped down and grabbed. We have a movie of it. To walk among Zebras and a mother and baby giraffe up close was special.

We went there to see the hippos, which we did, but the other opportunities made this a special day.

Beautiful, especially for birds around the lake. But the lake appears to be drying up.

Mush more dry and brown when compared to Masai Mara. Large and obvious presence of rangers was good and bad. Narrow designated roads made animal viewing hard if crowded

Lake Nakuru is beautiful, specifically because of how non-tourist focused it is. Most animals were seen from quite a distance. The park is a Rhino sanctuary, but don't expect these big fellows to cross the road in front of you. After a long day, we eventually found a group a couple of 100 meters away from us, which is magic on its own.

Seeing the animals actually be free; very few cars, roads and lots of freedom; is a great experience that one should not miss.
