Lake Nakuru was a very enjoyable safari experience. The landscapes around the lake are beautiful and the park offers a good variety of wildlife in a relatively compact area. It was a great place to enjoy nature, take photos and experience a different atmosphere from the Masai Mara. Definitely worth visiting as part of a Kenya safar

Lake Nakuru was a pleasant surprise and I enjoyed it more than expected. That said, don’t go there expecting to see huge numbers of flamingos—the numbers can be quite limited.

No flamingos there !!!
We were very disappointed when we were there in the early July this year. There were almost no flamingos in the lake( only 3-4 flomingos) and we have been told that the flamingos have migrated to another place permanently because the lake condition changed. Why the authority still make this untrue AD everwhere?

Lake Nakuru is home for rhinos. But we could not see flamingos - as it should be - because the level water of the lake was high

Not as many animals at Lake Nakuru than Maasi Mara, but worth visiting to see the rhino.

Lake Nakuru National Park was beautiful. It was amazing how different the landscape here is than other national parks. We did see the flamingos but could not get very close to them. That would have been the only thing that would have made our visit better.
