From the very beginning, our 7 day luxury safari with Oldbeast Vacations felt like stepping into a beautifully written story, one where every detail was handled with care, elegance, and heart. This incredible journey was made possible largely because of Mwanne, whose kindness, dedication, and exceptional organisation went far beyond our expectations.

Mwanne did not simply plan a trip; she personally shaped an experience that felt seamless, luxurious, and deeply meaningful. She was always available, attentive, and thoughtful, checking in constantly and ensuring every detail flowed perfectly. Her warmth and genuine care made us feel supported and relaxed from start to finish, allowing us to fully immerse ourselves in the adventure without a single worry.

The itinerary itself was unforgettable. Visiting Lake Eyasi and connecting with local communities was emotional and grounding, while meeting the Maasai added a powerful cultural depth to the journey. In the heart of the Central Serengeti, our overnight stay at Kati Kati Tented Camp was pure luxury in the wild, soft candlelight, endless stars, and the distant calls of animals creating an atmosphere that felt both intimate and magical. Seeing all of the Big Five in their natural habitat was breathtaking and beyond anything we imagined.

Ending the safari by enjoying Arusha’s vibrant nightlife was the perfect, stylish contrast to the serenity of the savannah.

From the very first message, we felt something rare: genuine care. Mwanne from Oldbeast Vacations didn’t treat us like another booking or itinerary. He treated us like people with a dream. Every reply felt thoughtful, unrushed, and sincere, as if he was just as invested in this journey as we were. That trust, built before we even arrived, set the tone for everything that followed.

Then Tanzania opened itself to us.

The land was vast and humbling. Silent in some moments, overwhelming in others. Standing in the Serengeti, watching the horizon stretch endlessly while wildlife moved freely through it, was something no photo or video could ever prepare us for. Our stays at Meliá Serengeti Lodge and Meliá Ngorongoro were beyond anything we imagined. Waking up to endless landscapes, dramatic views, and the peaceful sounds of nature was an experience that words can hardly capture. The level of comfort, service, and elegance blended perfectly with the raw beauty of the surroundings, making us feel both pampered and connected to the wild.

More Than a Safari, A Journey We Will Never Forget

Choosing Oldbeast Vacations turned our trip to Tanzania into something truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, well organized, and genuinely personal, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the journey ahead.

When we landed at Kilimanjaro Airport, a driver was already waiting for us and took us straight to our hotel in Arusha. There was no stress, no confusion, just a warm welcome and a smooth start to our adventure. Later that day, we were picked up again to explore Arusha and do some shopping, which was a wonderful way to ease into the country and its culture.

The next morning, our safari began, and from that point on, every day exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Hendry, was exceptional. His experience and deep knowledge of the wildlife, landscapes, and history of Tanzania made each drive fascinating. He explained animal behavior with clarity and passion, always making sure we understood what we were seeing and why it mattered. We felt completely safe with him at all times, and his calm, confident driving made even long distances comfortable.

Thanks to Hendry’s sharp eye and understanding of the parks, we were lucky enough to see the Big Five along with countless other animals in their natural habitat. Every sighting felt special and unhurried, giving us time to truly appreciate the moment rather than rushing from one stop to the next.

We chose a luxury safari, and every detail lived up to that promise. The accommodations were beautiful and well located, the food was consistently delicious, and the scenery was breathtaking at every stop. Packed lunches prepared by the hotels were excellent, and Hendry always made sure we stopped at clean and comfortable places during long drives, which made the experience even more enjoyable.

Our guide, Joshua, truly made the trip unforgettable.
