The Best Choice for an Authentic Safari Adventure
We had an amazing experience with RA Safaris in Tanzania and Kenya this summer. From the very beginning, the owner Zeph personally welcomed us at the airport, making us feel immediately at home.
During the 9 days tour we had two wonderful guides: Duncan, who accompanied us in Kenya, and Isa, who guided us in Tanzania. Both were extremely professional, attentive, and always available. They answered all our questions about wildlife and local culture with great knowledge, enriching every day with fascinating explanations and stories. They also knew the national parks inside out, including all the best routes and hidden trails to maximize our chances of spotting wildlife — and thanks to them, we had truly unforgettable encounters with nature.
Despite the long and bumpy roads, we always felt safe, well taken care of, and relaxed: from the accommodations to transfers, and of course the safaris, everything was perfectly organized. Thanks to them we were able to fully enjoy the breathtaking beauty of these countries, free of worries and with the certainty of being guided by reliable and passionate people.

Truly memorable family safari
Our 10 day overland RA Safari as a family of 5 adults from Nairobi, Kenya to Arusha, Tanzania through 5 national parks including the Masai Mara and Serengeti was truly fantastic. In preparing for our trip, Zeph the owner helped us plan a route and select accommodation to meet our needs. From start to finish, accommodation bookings, food, park entrance fees and all transport was taken care of. Our guides, Jeremiah in Kenya and Johnson in Tanzania were both excellent - friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, really interesting to talk to as they shared their experiences and insights, and great drivers. With a vehicle to ourselves for the duration of the safari, we thoroughly enjoyed the family time, and to top it off the game sightings were spectacular! Although the drive between the Masai Mara and Serengeti was very long, we really enjoyed passing through local villages and getting a sense of life in Kenya and Tanzania. A hot air balloon ride over the Serengeti, arranged by our guide, topped off an experience never to be forgotten. Thank you RA Safaris!

Fantastic experience
We did a safari with Real Adventure Safaris in 2010 with our then 11 and 13 year old children which had been very well organised and was a great experience. So when we decided to go to Tanzania in 2024 we of course chose RA Safaris again.
And again RA met and exceeded by far our expectations. This time we traveled with our children and their partners. The itinerary was quite complex: Arusha, Tarangire, Ngorongoro Crater, Serengeti, Lake Victoria, Lake Tanganyika, Gombe Stream National Park, Dar es Salaam and Mafia Island. Included were arrivals and departures to and from different airports at different times.
The whole trip was very well organised, everything worked to our complete satisfaction. All the hotels were very well chosen, always in special locations with very professional and friendly staff.
Important to mention is that our driver Salehe who accompanied us through the National Parks was a very reliable driver and a very knowledgeable guide. The way he found the animals was incredible and proved his outstanding expertise.
Throughout the whole trip Zeph, the owner of the company, stayed in touch with us to make sure everything was going fine.

Amazing experience
Zeph and his team organised a fantastic trip for us. We visited Arusha National Park, Tarangire, Ngorongoro, Serengeti and finished the trip with the Gombe Stream National Park to see Chimpanzees.
Communication was easy and professional. Our driver Sahlele had incredible animal knowledge and capability of spotting animals. The car was always clean, had several options to charge phone and camera.
