Had a great time, my guide was professional, friendly and knowledgable

Had a great time, my guide was professional, friendly and knowledgable. He was also very fun to talk to. The lodge I stayed at was very nice. There were zebras grazing in the lawn. My guide had high quality binoculars on the trip for me to use, and whenever needed, he would find a way to be as close to the animals as possible. He communicated well about tour timings, and kept everything on schedule. Would recommend booking with Iyana, and if you get Samson as your driver-guide, you should know you're in good hands!

Very experienced guide helped us made the most out of a short trip

My wife and I visited in early January and our time was constrained by my conference schedule. We had only two days for the safari and looked for a compact itinerary. It was a short notice but Iyana responded quickly to my inquiry. We communicated through email and it was overall smooth. Iyana provided us with a suitable time arrangement and a menu of accommodation options, which I appreciate a lot. We finally decided to stay at Sarova Mara Camp, and the stay was quite good.

Samson was our guide and he made it a completely worthy trip. We did only an afternoon game drive on the first day and a morning drive on the second because of our tight schedule, but Samson led us to see most of the big 5 and the ugly 5. It was especially exciting for me to spot a cheetah twice. I cannot ask for more for such a short trip.

Overall, I am greatly satisfied with the experience provided by Iyana, and I believe they are worthy of more exposure as a relatively young business. I wish them the best.

Fantastic Safari with Iyana! We received excellent support throughout the planning process, with clear and smooth communication from the company. They were very flexible and willing to adjust the itinerary to suit our needs, which we really appreciated. We were also very happy with the accommodation arrangements throughout the trip.

In addition, we were extremely satisfied with our guide, Samson, who truly made the experience extraordinary. You are very lucky if you get Samson as your guide. He genuinely cared about our well-being, was pleasant and easy to spend time with, and did everything possible to ensure we had an amazing safari experience. His knowledge of wildlife and local culture was outstanding, and he gave us deep and valuable insights into both Kenyan wildlife and culture.

We had many great conversations along the way, which really contributed to making this trip unforgettable.

Iyana Africa exceeded my expectations to plan a trip in record two days

I went on safari with Iyana Africa Tours and Safaris on Christmas Day, and it turned out to be the highlight of our holiday. Just two days before, I called Alfred to arrange a quick two-day safari to Tsavo East from Mombasa. Despite the short notice, he acted swiftly, kept us updated throughout, and managed to secure a beautiful lodge for us.

To make the experience even better, Alfred sent us an exceptional guide, Samson, whose knowledge and experience truly elevated the trip. Samson was jovial, witty, and full of fun; he seemed to know exactly where the elephants were hiding in Tsavo East, which made every game drive exciting. His energy and humor added so much joy to our Christmas adventure.

We are deeply grateful to Alfred and Samson for turning our last-minute plan into such a memorable safari. They really spiced up our Christmas, and I can wholeheartedly recommend Iyana Africa Tours and Safaris any day, anytime!
