Had a fabulous safari adventure with Mooi. Their extensive network in Uganda meant that they had access to the best guides, the best lodges, even with short notice changes to the itinerary. They were very flexible to accommodate the diverse wishes of the travel group, had a very informal and warm and approachable style, and made the whole 2-week trip like we were travelling with old friends! Highly recommended.

Having done a few other safaris (Kenya, South Africa, India), my husband and I took the plunge and decided on a gorilla safari. It was between Uganda and Congo. We opted for Uganda as it was a bit less expensive. Well success! From the communication to the reliability of what was presented as a tour and what we experienced was bang on! No nonsense. A lot of information was provided to prepare for the trek (we opted for the intermediate one that took about 6 hours in all). We are in our sixties and still managed it. It was absolutely fabulous. We were not disappointed. The gorillas were right in front of us just chomping away in the bushes. I took a lady guide which helped me along since sometimes I had to literally step on just branches that had just been chopped because it was the only way to get to the gorillas. By the way, the gorillas are the highlight of the trip but we saw so many animals. Lions cheetahs hippos elephants giraffes and so many exotic birds to name a few. Thank you so much Jamie for sharing an unforgettable experience. Uganda hospitality will forever be in our hearts. Roberto and Danielle

Fun, flexible and extremely knowledgeable!

Our guide and driver were both incredibly knowledgeable and did their very best to understand what was working and not working and made tweaks to the plan based on our feedback.

In addition to the large usual safari game, we are also beginning birders and they certainly both knew their stuff here too - we saw amazing stuff and they were good at getting us to not just see the birds and animals, but learn about them and to also learn how to ID the birds!

we had a great time, and when we are back in that part of the world, would definitely ask Mooi to guide us again!
