The Pearl of Africa in 12 days with Wild Uganda. A unique experience that I recommend without a mome
We are delighted to have chosen Wild Uganda for our first safari!
First of all, communication with Ernest was seamless, professional, and impeccable.
Our guide was Shafik Topkins; he is a very warm person who knows and loves his country!
We learned so much about Uganda and the hidden gems found there.
Shafik is knowledgeable about the national parks and their history.
He also specializes in birdwatching and tracking, and can answer any questions about the animals you might encounter.
He is passionate about his work, and it was a real pleasure listening to his explanations and stories.
We were able to see the "Big Five" as well as many other animals.
The experiences with the chimpanzees, gorillas, and golden monkeys were extraordinary and magical!!!

We are glad that we chose WildUganda to organize our trip in Uganda. The communication was very professional and they organized our trip very well in advance.
On the first day we met our guide Kasim. Kasim is an excellent guide and the reason safaribooking should add a 6th star. Kasim is a very enthusiastic guide with a passion for nature. He is a guide willing to go that extra mile to give you the best experience in Uganda. After a morning gamedrive + boat cruise on the Kazinga channel + afternoon gamedrive Kasim wanted to go back before it was getting dark to the place we saw leopards that morning to check if they were out. We really love that kind of efford. In addition he is a very knowledgable guide. We learned a lot from him about the different ethnic groups in Uganda and the nature. Another point we really appreciated was that Kasim always made clear that animal sightings are not guaranteed, in his words: ''If nature allows''. Something we will remember and tell our friends and family.
Even after our trip with Kasim ended, he woke up really early on his only day off to give us a ride to the busstation in Kampala. Something we will never forget.
Exceptional 11-Day Uganda Safari - Book with Confidence!
We have just returned from an incredible 11-day safari across Uganda with Wild Uganda Safaris, and I honestly cannot recommend them highly enough.
Like many UK travellers, I was initially a little apprehensive about booking directly with a company based overseas rather than using a UK tour operator. However, I can say without hesitation that Wild Uganda Safaris are completely legitimate, professional and trustworthy. From start to finish, everything was handled exceptionally well, and any concerns I had disappeared very quickly.
A special thank you to Ernest, who helped us put together an itinerary that worked perfectly within our budget while still maximising the wildlife experiences and activities. He was responsive, helpful and clearly understood exactly what we wanted from our trip.
The safari itself exceeded all expectations. Our guide and driver, Kasim, was absolutely fantastic throughout the entire trip. He immediately made us feel comfortable, was incredibly friendly and knowledgeable, and was an excellent driver on some challenging roads. What really stood out was how much effort he put into ensuring we had the best possible experience. He frequently went above and beyond, adding extra stops and opportunities so that we could see even more wildlife and make the most of our time in Uganda.
Thanks to Kasim's expertise and determination, we were fortunate enough to see an unbelievable variety of wildlife. Highlights included lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, zebras, hippos, rhinos, jackals, hyenas and countless other animals. We were also lucky enough to see the incredible shoebill, which was a real bucket-list sighting.
For me personally, the primate experiences were unforgettable. Trekking to see the mountain gorillas was every bit as amazing as I had hoped, while spending time with chimpanzees and golden monkeys was equally memorable. The golden monkeys were an absolute highlight of the trip and something I will never forget.
Every day seemed to bring a new adventure, a new landscape and another incredible wildlife encounter. Uganda is a truly beautiful country, and Wild Uganda Safaris did a superb job of showcasing its diversity, wildlife and culture.
If you are considering a safari in Uganda, especially if you are coming from the UK and are unsure about booking direct, my advice would be simple: don't hesitate. Wild Uganda Safaris delivered an exceptional experience, excellent value for money and service that exceeded our expectations in every way.
A huge thank you to Ernest, Kasim and the entire team for helping create memories that will last a lifetime. We would happily book with them again and highly recommend them to anyone looking for an unforgettable Ugandan safari adventure.

Breathtaking times with Wild Uganda!
Everything went perfectly from our first contact with Wild Uganda to the last. All communication was very clear, and every question I asked was answered within 24 hours. The itinerary they proposed was perfectly tailored to us, and adjusting it was no problem at all. We were given the option to upgrade our lodges, and the additional cost was very reasonable. Wild Uganda handled everything perfectly. Brian, our guide, made the trip unforgettable; he was always punctual, took care of everything for us, and is an expert at spotting wildlife. Definitely ask for Brian—he is absolutely outstanding.
Tailored experience with knowledgeable guides and quality accommodations close to the parks
We went on a 13-day safari and trekking trip through Uganda, Rwanda and Tanzania with Wild Uganda. Planning the trip was easy as Ernest was incredibly communicative and helpful when I needed guidance. The service provided by both guides (Andrew in Uganda and Rwanda and Octavian in Tanzania) was exceptional. We learned a lot about each country and felt safe and well taken care of by our guides.
The accommodations prioritized proximity to the parks, resulting in easier mornings, and shorter lines when entering the parks. Both guides were able to navigate park registration seamlessly and we were able to focus on the animals and nature around us. Both guides were knowledgeable about both wildlife and plant life!
The trip was a great value for the money we paid and we would rebook with Wild Uganda on our next E. Africa safari and trekking trip.
