Efficient and easy to communicate with Tabitha

I joined a 5 day safari with Khalifa as the guide. I had no issues being a single female traveller.
Our day in Masai Mara was an absolute hilite. Khalifa (Captain) knew the park intimately. He located 4 of the Big Five on that day and we enjoyed special sightings, sometimes being the only vehicle present.
He is a very kind man and was generous with his knowledge and help. Having been a guide for over 20 years his experience shone through and we benefited.
A visit to a Masai village was very genuine and showed us a different perspective on life.
Accommodation was good and the food also fresh and plentiful.
There was a lot of road travel involved and perhaps on the last 2 days we could have added something extra. However, saying that, our long days went very quickly.
The office staff (Tabitha in particular) was very pleasant to deal with.
I would definitely recommend Axis Africa Safaris and Khalifa, in particular, if you choose to visit Kenya.

I have been liaising with Lucy from Axis travel for close to year to plan our once in a lifetime safari trip as a family of four. I was nervous due to our children being 7 and 5 with the youngest having special needs however Axis very quickly put my mind to rest. They worked with me to ensure every aspect of the trip would work for the children and for our budget. They allocated a very experienced game driver Peter Ndungu who picked us up from Nairobi drove us to Masai Mara and we had an amazing experience overall. We saw so many amazing animals and the game drive worked really well for the children. Axis also organised our hot air balloon ride and trip to naivasha lake and hellsgate national park. The whole experience was really pleasant.
