Friendly & Enthusiastic
We had an incredible Masai Mara safari experience thanks to our driver Peter Kapino. He was extremely knowledgeable about the animals, respectful of nature, and very skilled at spotting wildlife.
He drove safely, answered all our questions, and made sure we were comfortable throughout the trip. Highly recommended!

The whole trip was very well planned. It was well paced leaving us enough time for relaxation. Our guide Peter was very experienced and kept us updated with the schedule. He was very courteous and made adjustments where possible. I would recommend Axis Africa without any hesitation.

We had an amazing time on our Kenya safari, and I honestly can’t recommend Axis Africa Safaris highly enough.
From planning through to execution, everything was seamless, professional, and personal. This trip was especially meaningful for us as it included a family celebration, and Axis Africa truly went above and beyond.
A special mention must go to Sammie Hinga, our guide, who was absolutely exceptional:
He looked after my mother as if she were his own, which meant everything to us as a family.
He was incredibly passionate during the game drives and had an amazing eye — spotting not only the big animals but also many of the smaller details others would miss.
We were lucky enough to see 3 of the Big 5.
He helped arrange a surprise birthday celebration for my wife, including connecting me with someone who decorated our room with balloons and banners — a really special touch that we’ll never forget.
He was extremely punctual, reliable, and calm throughout the entire journey.
He was also very informative, sharing fascinating insights into the history of Tsavo and Nairobi, which added so much depth to the experience.
Simply put — definitely a keeper.
Every transfer, lodge, game drive, and detail ran smoothly. We felt safe, cared for, and genuinely valued from start to finish.
My only complaint is that…

Perfectly planned!!
We had a wonderful tour with Axis Africa. Special mention to Tabitha for organising such a well planned trip. Jack was our guide for the safari and he is very much experienced in spotting the animals.

Knowledgable
Axis Safaris was a great choice for a 3-day safari in Masai Mara. Khalifa was a great guide who had lots of experience and knew where to find all of the animals. I was able to see all of the Big 5 (lion, leopard, elephant, rhino, and Cape buffalo). The budget stay is a great accommodation if you are a traveler looking to save. If you are looking to do a short safari, 3 days was definitely sufficient to see everything that the Masai Mara has.
