Axis Africa Safari is very cooperative, trusted and reliable tour operator.
Axis Africa safari has helped us very well during flight delay cancellation and honestly offered a good amount of discount due to flight delay. I think such type of honesty is very rare.
Our tour guide Mr collin is very helpful and Joyfully handled the entire tour. We really enjoyed his company.
In short Axis Africa Safari is very reliable and one should definitely go with them for kenya safari tours.
Unforgettable experience
I booked a 7-day Kenya safari with Axis Safari, covering Masai Mara, Amboseli, Lake Nakuru, and Lake Naivasha, and it was truly an unforgettable experience.
From the very beginning, Tabitha was absolutely amazing. I had a lot of questions, and she patiently answered every single one of them. She helped me with the visa voucher, explained everything in detail, and was always prompt, kind, and accommodating. I genuinely enjoyed communicating with her — everything felt easy, smooth, and stress-free.
Our journey started early in the morning. We were picked up around 6:30 a.m., which was good since we had an early 4am arrival flight. Axis Safari also allowed us to leave our luggage safely at their office so we could travel lightly — a small but very thoughtful detail.
From Nairobi, we headed straight to Masai Mara, which became one of my favorite parks of the entire trip. It was breathtaking and completely mesmerizing. I chose mid-range luxury accommodations, and I was very happy with the hotels throughout the trip — comfortable, great service, and good food. My favorite stay was Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort, which was absolutely amazing.
For the entire seven days, we were guided by Khalifa — and honestly, I can’t imagine this trip being so incredible without him. He was extremely knowledgeable (animals, birds — you name it), kind, flexible, and always trying to accommodate everyone. His understanding of the parks and animal behavior was truly impressive. I strongly believe that we were able to see so many animals because of his experience and deep knowledge of the parks.
In Amboseli, we witnessed five cheetahs on a hunt, and we had prime viewing spots (thanks, Khalifa!) a moment I will never forget. Seeing elephants, lions, zebras, and countless other animals just a few meters away was surreal. Amboseli, in particular, felt like an endless animal crossing, especially with the elephants — I was completely in awe.
There was one small issue where a last-minute itinerary change added extra driving hours between parks, but it didn’t take away from the overall experience.
We were part of a shared group safari, and it worked out wonderfully. The value for the price is excellent, and I’ve already recommended Axis Safari to friends.
I traveled with my dad, and he absolutely loved it. He kept saying how unbelievable it was to be just meters away from zebras, cheetahs, lions, and so many other animals — memories we will cherish forever.
Overall, I couldn’t be happier. Amazing organization, outstanding guide, great value, and unforgettable memories.
I highly recommend Axis Safari to anyone planning a safari in Kenya.

Kenya Done Right, Seamless, Private, and Truly Magical
I’ve grown up watching National Geographic, Animal Planet, and Discovery, and visiting Africa had always been my biggest dream and right at the top of my bucket list. That dream couldn’t have been executed any better than as a family, with my 10-month-old, my wife, and my in-laws, by Axis Africa.
I went into this trip with no real plan, just a dream. Travelling with a 10-month-old is no joke. From the very first enquiry on WhatsApp to the prompt late-night responses by Tabitha, every concern I had was patiently addressed. A highly customised itinerary was built piece by piece, always keeping the comfort and safety of my child as the top priority.
Not only was Axis Africa incredibly prompt and meticulous in crafting our trip just one week before travel, they also turned out to be the best value for money compared to three other operators we explored, for what I would truly call an all-inclusive, exclusive, private, and safe experience. The premium stays (Curio Hilton, Sand River by Elewana, Serena Sweetwaters, Fairmont Kenya Safari Club) were exceptional, and I haven’t even gotten to the best part yet.
Our guide, Mr. Kevin Apidi.
We have travelled to quite a few places around the world, both self-driven and guided, and all I can say is this, Kenya has to be experienced via a tour operator, and this was hands down the best guided experience we’ve ever had.
Kevin was with us from day one until the very end. His large safari jeep was equipped with a car seat for my baby, and words cannot explain just how perfect he was in every way, extremely professional, exceptionally well-spoken, highly knowledgeable and informative, and most importantly, genuinely kind, accommodating, and sensitive to every situation. By the end of our nine-day trip, he felt like part of our family.
We visited Kenya during the off-season in late November, and honestly, it couldn’t have been better. It felt more exclusive and private. Cut to the chase, Kevin ensured we saw all of the Big Five up close, and even what I would call the Big Nine. My dream unfolded better than I ever imagined. No GPS, no tracking, just 16 years of experience, instinct, and hard work behind the incredible person he is. The entire experience felt nothing short of magical.
We are deeply grateful to Axis Africa for assigning Kevin to us, and to Tabitha for overseeing the entire trip, from our very first conversation to seamless coordination with all the hotels, making the journey completely hassle-free for us, especially while travelling with elders and a baby.
During the trip, we celebrated my wife’s birthday and my son’s 10-monthversary. We couldn’t have chosen a better destination or a better tour operator.
Wishing Axis Africa, Tabitha, and Kevin Apidi continued success and growth.
God bless abundantly.
11/10.
