Professional, amazing guide, excellent camps, comfortable new vehicle. What more could you ask for?
We had a wonderful experience on safari with get together. They were very professional and easy to work with during the planning stage. We had a brand new safari vehicle which was incredibly comfortable. It had fewer than 5k km on it. We were told that they only use brand new safari vehicles and sell them to other tour companies when they get older, which is very nice. The camps they arranged for us in the Serengeti were amazing. Very comfortable, incredible food, great service. We did have one issue during our safari, but their prompt and professional response very much impressed us.
But above all our guide, Makundi, was amazing. The guide can really make or break your safari and Makundi is a uniquely wonderful guide. He is experienced, kind and thoughtful. Most of all he is incredibly knowledgeable about the wildlife - he truly has a passion for the animals and ecology and loves to share that with you. While guides from other companies might be friendly and helpful, I doubt you will find a better guide than Makundi at teaching you about the wildlife.

A Safari Experience Beyond Words with GetTogetherAdventures
My wife (from Spain) and I (from Switzerland) have always dreamed of an extended Safari. Reflecting on our journey now, it is clear that our experience with GetTogetherAdventures exceeded all expectations. From the initial planning stage with Elizabeth to the final day of our trip, when we had the pleasure of meeting the charming team around Emmanuel and Savilinyi in Arusha, everything was organized professionally and seamlessly.
The itinerary was well balanced, allowing us to experience a great variety of wildlife, landscapes, and local culture without ever feeling rushed. The accommodations were carefully selected, offering both comfort and an authentic safari atmosphere.
A special thank you goes to our guides, Ali (highly proficient in Spanish) and Amos, whose knowledge, passion and remarkable ability to spot wildlife made every game drive exciting and memorable. We were fortunate to see an incredible range of animals and learned a great deal about the ecosystems of Tarangire National Park, the Serengeti National Park and the Ngorongoro Crater. What impressed us most was their attention to detail, flexibility, and genuine care throughout the journey. We always felt safe, well looked after, and truly welcomed. It was also evident that Ali and Amos have a strong connection to the local community and were highly respected by fellow guides and hotel personnel alike.
We can wholeheartedly recommend GetTogetherAdventures to anyone looking for a well-organized, authentic, fairly priced and unforgettable safari experience with a local boutique operator. We returned home with amazing memories and would gladly travel with them again.
Thank you again for the experience of a lifetime!

Unique experience for life!!
Our Safari with the Get Together Adventures was absolutely spectacular. We saw the Great 5 (yes, including a couple of leopards and rhinos and many, many, many lions and elephants), the Ugly 5 and the Great Migration crossing beginning-to-end. Our guide Joseph was awesome - doing his very best to make sure we experienced the best safari possible (chasing the Migration crossing was especially challenging) and he was also explaining everything throughout our journey so we had a peace of mind all the time.
Full 5 stars to Jospeh and the Get Together Adventures!
You will never be disappointed
Choosing Get Together Adventures was one of the best decisions we made for our trip to Tanzania.
From the very beginning, the company explained the itinerary, services, and every detail clearly. There were no hidden costs or last-minute changes, and the entire trip went exactly as promised, which gave us complete peace of mind.
Even more fortunately, we were paired with Joseph, our driver and guide for 11 unforgettable days. He truly made this journey even more special.
Joseph is incredibly attentive, patient, and thoughtful. At the end of each day, he would discuss with us what time we wanted to leave the next morning. Before setting off each day, he always reminded us to make sure we had everything with us. It was the little things like these that showed how much he genuinely cared about his guests’ experience.
What impressed us the most was his passion for wildlife and his determination to never give up. To help us witness the spectacular Great Migration river crossing, he raced across the park twice, hoping we would arrive at just the right moment. The first time, we were unfortunately a little too late and only caught the last few wildebeest disappearing into the distance. We were disappointed, but Joseph never gave up.
The very next day, thanks to his persistence, we finally witnessed the breathtaking Great Migration crossing. It was an unforgettable moment and the perfect ending to our Tanzania adventure.
If you’re considering Get Together Adventures, I wholeheartedly recommend requesting Joseph as your guide. He is knowledgeable, highly experienced, and will do everything he can to make every single day of your safari unforgettable.
As he always says:
“Together, we will win, my friend.”
Once-in-a-lifetime safari experience
I booked a 6-day safari with Get Together Adventures in Tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorogoro. As a solo traveler I wasn’t sure what to expect - but I had the perfect companion and guide in Joseph. He struck a great balance between keeping us on track and being willing to explore a road less travelled. We saw the big 5, which isn’t easy - you need good luck, but you also need a guide who’s willing to spend 3 hours tracking down a report of a leopard down one of those less travelled roads. It also helped that he was fun to talk to, and a good source of info about the animals and people of the region. The itinerary was great, the accommodations were excellent, the Land Cruiser was sturdy and in good condition. There were snacks and WiFi :). What more can I say - taking this trip was the dream of a lifetime for me and I was so relieved and happy to find myself in good hands!
