I have now travelled twice with Abiy Ethiopia Tours and each time found the planning and delivery of the tour immaculate. Abiy is prompt replying to queries, generous with advice, and always knowledgeable, courteous and fluent in English.
We enjoyed the first tour so much that we trusted Abiy to arrange our second experience of Ethiopia. We found going through a trustworthy Addis-based tour operator proved excellent value for money. I had an outstanding experience with Abiy Ethiopia Tours. Abiy did an awesome job managing every detail of my trip. We covered the cultural highlights of Addis Ababa, but the real standouts were the Danakil Depression and Harar. Danakil is like the 'Yellowstone of Ethiopia' but frankly, it blows it away. Sleeping on the side of a volcano and feeding the hyenas in Harar are memories I will keep forever.
What sets Abiy apart is his attention to detail. He took the time to truly understand my specific needs and incorporated everything I asked for—including arranging cots for better sleep, diverse food options, and specific cultural considerations. If you want a guide who is as attentive as he is knowledgeable about Ethiopia’s most rugged terrains, book with Abiy.
