Pure luxury and the Big Five – Our absolute dream safari with Indigo Safaris thanks to Shannon!
We went on a South African safari planned by Shannon last November and are still absolutely thrilled. Shannon more than deserves this top rating – she works with a level of professionalism and passion that is hard to find these days!
The accommodations she selected were incredible. Especially the Arathusa Safari Lodge was pure luxury – simply breathtaking, unforgettable, and with first-class service. A major highlight was the game drives right from the lodge, where we actually got to see the legendary Big Five up close!
The entire communication and organization beforehand through Indigo Safaris was flawless, smooth, and extremely warm. If you are looking for a magical and perfectly planned African journey, you MUST book with Shannon and Indigo Safaris. Thank you for this unforgettable dream vacation – we highly recommend them!

Terri was very helpful, knowledgeable, and helped us find the perfect safari for us.
This trip was seamless from beginning to end. Terri was our representative from Indigo Safaris and she was able to organize exactly what we wanted, a relatively reasonably priced lodge and a drive through the Panorama Route on our way from Notten's Bush Lodge to Kruger National Park Airport. Both the lodge stay/drives and the tour through the South African countryside were enjoyable. We would highly recommend Notten's. The service was impeccable, the rooms were very well appointed, and the guides were knowledgeable and helpful. We saw all the big 5 and so much more. The bath after the afternoon drive was a wonderful way to wind down. Thank you Terri and everyone at Notten's.

Very careful to provide the best trip possible for my party
Indigo safaris created a private safari for us - 5 nights camping, 2 nights at the Chobe elephant camp lodge and 2 nights in Victoria Falls. They were very careful to make sure that we would enjoy the experience and to provide the best itinerary that they could. They were happy to communicate with us over several days to make sure that we were going to get the most suitable package. They also arranged all the transfers, which was very helpful. Our guide and cooks were very good and we were very pleased with every aspect of the trip.

We were a bit late with our booking of a game safari to the Okavango region in Botswana. So it wasn't easy to find a suitable venue that both complied with our style of travelling and fitted to our availability dates. Eventually a place was found: Gomoti Villas. This turned out to be a really marvellous resort, right on the Gomoti river, with hippos, darter birds, elephants, etc. The lodge provided excellent guides that took us to see a great number of animals and birds, could tell us a lot about their habits and took all the time we needed at every site. The rooms were well equiped and the meals delicious. In the evenings we copuld sit around a nice warm fire place.
Indigo Safaris kept us well informed about the bookings and the answers to our queries about the lodge, park and services. Everything went very smooth and also communications with the lodge about changing arrival and pickup times were perfect.
So, we had a great time at a great location that met all our dreams. Thanks a lot Shannon and thanks a lot Indigo Safaris.
